The Practice is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment and operates a Chaperone policy to benefit both patients and staff.
All consultations, examinations and investigations are potentially distressing and consultations involving the need for patients to undress for intimate examinations particularly may make a patient feel vulnerable.
The policy is also intended to assist patients to make an informed choice about their examinations and consultations.
