Ribblesdale Practice are offering FREE NHS Health Checks to patients aged between 40-74 without a pre-existing cardiovascular condition such as diabetes, chd etc.
The health check is designed to assess your risk of developing any illnesses, such as Diabetes, Heart Disease, Diabetes and Stroke.
The check consists of an appointment to see the Health Care Support Worker or the Practice Nurse for a blood test and then a follow up with the same Clinician which involves having a blood pressure, height & weight check and a general discussion about family history and your lifestyle.
Should there be any early warning signs, then together we can do something about it, to improve your lifestyle and reduce your risk.
